Statement of Work – Group Claims Processing
To provide for and process End-End Case Closure of Group Claims for one of the largest insurance providers in India. The following are the activities that are broadly included in the scope of work
- Scanning of Claims Documents
- Data Entry & Validation of the Claims wrt to Client Data

Client Requirement – Group Claims Processing
- To process Insurance Claims requests received from MFI (Micro-Finance Companies) & Non-MFI Groups (employer-employee groups) in a faster Turn-Around Time.
- To eliminate manual interactions by introducing technology based processing of claims requests.
- To assist HDFC Life towards capturing, validating & processing the Payment for successful claims
- To reduce the multiple handoff’s that are currently happening and also to reduce and minimize the paper trail within the organization.
- To improve the success rate of Claims Processing for HDFC Life in a time bound manner.
Writer’s Proposed Solution – Group Claims Processing
- To provide for a Software to convert data from Digital Images into Text using our proprietary software
- The software would also perform a Systemic check on Data imported from client systems versus the data captured by our proprietary software to report for any deficiencies thereby eliminating manual transaction if any.
- The Deficiencies captured on our system would be notified to the client on a Real-Time basis thereby giving the client a 360 Degree view on the stages of our claims processing
- The Digital Images & Text would then be uploaded into the client systems through a STP (Straight Through Pass)Upload
- Payment Processing (NEFT Tagging) would be done on our proprietary software before the data is uploaded into client systems through a STP upload.
We have been able to showcase a fully automated solution to the client which achieves the following
- Eliminates paper trail
- Improves the TAT
- Eliminates paper trail
- Is able to integrate with the client systems directly
- Multiple Vendor hand-off’s are eliminated too as we are final custodians of the physical documents.
